CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
Craniosacral Therapy evaluates and treats restrictions in the connective
tissues or fascia, using gentle traction, pressures, and body positioning.
Fascia is a complex elastic web throughout the body which connects all of
the organs and the musculoskeletal system. It retains tensions from trauma
or stress and is usually involved when a person experiences chronic pain
or physical dysfunction. The body's ability to release stored tension in
response to therapy allows a return to normal flexibility and mobility of
the fascia and associated structures. This therapy is deeply relaxing and
can relieve headache, spinal and nerve problems, and is often used to address
temporo-mandibular joint disorders.
